ProPex woven geotextiles

ProPex is a family of polypropylene textiles, specially developed for a wide range of civil engineering applications including:

ProPex geotextiles are designed with economy and performance in mind and manufactured with especially stabilised polypropylene to survive hostile environments. They offer a wide range of strengths and other properties, so allowing selection to meet specifications whilst maximising savings.

ProPex composites

We have the facilities to produce composite fabrics. These are manufactured upon request for different geotextile applications such as road and railway constructions.

Our Technical Service will assist in solving even the most demanding construction problems using ProPex geotextiles. The Technical Service Department works closely with the Research Department of Propex Fabrics which is well equipped with the most up to date test equipment and facilities. Furthermore our ProPex geotextiles are regularly tested by an external, independent and accredited test house, tBU - Germany "Institut für textile Bau- und Umwelttechnik GmbH".

AmoPave nonwoven geotextiles

AmoPave asphalt overlay fabric is a nonwoven geotextile produced by AFFC, Propex Fabrics and marketed in Europe by Propex Fabrics GmbH. Other styles and dimensions are available upon request.

There are a number of advantages of AmoPave. These include:

• AmoPave is a cost-efficient method of retarding cracks on old pavement from resurfacing.
• Provides a moisture barrier that reduces water penetration into the subgrade.
• Increases the fatigue life of new pavement.
• Readily absorbs tack coat to form a strong permanent bond between new and old layers of asphalt.
• Has a good tensile and burst strength making it extremely durable and resistant to tears.
• Being nonwoven, it conforms fast and smoothly to surfaces with minimal wrinkling and shrinkage.
• Highly resistant to degradation caused by exposure to sunlight.
